This old churn is in outstanding condition. Its exact age is unknown but we believe it to date from 1900 to 1925 (don't confuse this with the "Gem Dandy" churn which came much later). Cast iron gear drive, wood paddle (replaced at some point in the past), with hardwood handle. The drive mechanism is fastened to a heavy cover that screws onto the glass jar (see photo). Very functional, overall height 14-3/4 inches, glass jar is 9-3/4 inches high by 5-3/4 inches square, weighs 5 lbs. Clean, undamaged, in excellent working order.
