"Shakers Near Lebannon." Originally dated 1872. This is an exact reprint of the original Currier & Ives lithograph, from King & Davis (1968) "World of Currier & Ives,". All titles, references, and explanatory notes are presented as in the original. Full size 14x19 with large and easy-to-read lettering, in new condition in shrink-wrap (one end open) with heavy cardboard backing. Historical notes on reverse side, printed in beautiful color on quality low-acid/low-gloss paper, ready for framing. NOTE: We recently visited Hancock Shaker Village in Massachusetts. A copy of this print hangs in one of the original meeting houses. A wonderful, fascinating and historical site, highly recommended!
