An authentic vintage Nippon porcelain bowl, states: "Hand Painted" with "M" in center of green wreath above Nippon mark. Exceptional craftsmanship and artwork. Nicely figured, the artwork depicts pink flowers, green leaves, gold trim, with a light floral design on the outside. 4-1/2 inch oblique square top, 2 inches high flares out to 5 inches on sides, 2-7/8 inches in diameter at base, weighs 6 ounces, an excellent quality design in wonderful condition, made between 1891 and 1921 (exact age unknown).
